Once upon a time in the city of Brampton, A beautiful baby girl named Stella was born.

 Sadly her mother was very young and didn't think she could take care of her baby girl so she decided to put her up for adoption.

Sadly by the time Stella turned two, no one had adopted her.  On her second Birthday her best friend Mandy gave her a special gift it was a doll that was made out of a old sock.

"Thank you Mandy I love her". said Stella.

"Your welcome Stella, I'm sorry I couldn't get you the one you wanted but I don't have any money". replied Mandy.  

That's ok Mandy I love her anyways, I think I'm going to take her to the park for a bit". said Stella.

As Stella was having fun at the park, she couldn't help wishing she had a mom or dad to play with her.

After swinging on the swings for a bit, Stella thought she would go down the slide, but before she got to the slide she tripped and fell twisting her ankle. 

"OW"! Stella screamed before starting to cry.

Luckily another little girl at the park saw her fall and rushed over to see if Stella was ok.

  "Oh my gosh are you ok"? asked the little girl.

"No, I twisted my ankle". said Stella crying.

"Let me go get my mom, she'll help you". replied the girl.

"Oh my gosh honey are you ok, here let me help you". said the girls mom.  

After sitting Stella up, the girls mom looked at Stella's ankle.

"It looks pretty swollen, is your mom here so I can get her for you"? asked the girls mom.

"I don't have a mom or a dad, I live at the adoption center". replied Stella.

"What is your name sweetie"? asked the girls mom

"My name is Stella". she replied.

"Hi Stella my name is Lisa and this is my daughter Prim, I'm going to take you to the hospital to get checked out". said Lisa.

When they got to the hospital they were taken to a room right away and the doctor saw them".

"Hello my name is doctor Jamie, what seems to be the trouble"? she asked.
