Leo the Fox was clever, curious, and always up for a challenge. He loved racing through the woods, solving puzzles, and showing just how smart he could be.

He lived in Willow Woods, a bright forest filled with friendly animals and fun. Lately, though, something has changed. The animals weren’t playing tag or exploring like they used to.
That’s because something new had appeared in the heart of the forest: a shiny stall with spinning wheels, blinking lights, and loud music. The sign read: The Golden Acorn Game.

The game was run by Slick the Coyote, who wore a crooked grin.

Win big! One spin is all it takes!

Leo gave it a try. He placed an acorn in the slot, spun the wheel—and won more acorns!

This is amazing!

He spun again. And again. But then… he started to lose.

That's okay, just one more spin.

Soon Leo was visiting the game every day. He skipped breakfast, missed hikes, and even forgot about Daisy the Deer’s birthday party.
Where’s Leo? He promised to come.
Leo didn’t mean to let her down—he just couldn’t stop spinning. He lost all his acorns, then borrowed from Milo the Squirrel.
I just need a little more to win it all back

But the big win never came. All around the forest, animals were starting to whisper. They missed Leo. And they missed each other.

Even the younger animals had started playing. The Golden Acorn Game was just so easy to find. It was everywhere now: by the river, near the school stump, and even by the berry patch.

Late one night, Leo stood alone in front of the glowing game. No more acorns. No more friends to borrow from. Just that sound—the spinning wheel.
Oliver the Owl swooped down from a branch.
I know that game, I once played too. I lost a lot before I saw the truth.

This isn’t just about you, Leo. These games are made to keep you playing. They’re built by those who profit when we lose.

Leo’s ears drooped. He thought about the birthdays he missed, the friends he ignored, the joy that used to fill the woods. He finally saw it: this wasn’t just his problem—it was everyone’s.

How do we stop this?
With a deep breath, Leo stepped away from the wheel. He turned to Oliver.

Leo gathered his friends.
We need to change things. We’ve all been tricked by this game—and it’s hurting us.

The animals met under the big oak tree. At first, some didn’t want to believe it.
Then Slick caught wind of their plan.

It's just a game!
It's supposed to be fun!
