book 1 the incedents

introduction

the city lights of silverton always seemed 

brighter from ten feet in the air. For seventeen year old Maggie the world was best veiwed from mid flip. With her shock of blond hair tied back in a messy knot and a pair of worn out leggings she was a blur of excitable energy.

chapter 1

Maggie had been taking care of herself since she was nine. After the accident that took her parents she had slipped through the cracks of a busy system,

 surviving on grit and odd jobs at the local circus warehouse. She lived in a tiny attic apartment only furniture being a matress and a high bar she had bolted into the ceiling. 

Acrobatics wasn't just a hobby;it was how she felt close to the sky. 

The regional acrobatics championship was her ticket out of poverty. The grand prize was enough to pay for a real apartment and college!

Maggie performed like a whirl wind- triple pikes, layouts and handsprings that defied gravity. But on her final vault her grip slipped, a sickening crack echoed through the silent arena.

Maggie colapsed, her left leg twisted at an impossible angle.

The diognosis at the free clinic was grim:  a complex shatter that require a specilist surgery costing more than Maggie had earned in life time. With out it she would not walk with out a limp let alone fly.

chapter 2

 Enter Ellie.

ellie was everything Maggie wasn't: polished, quiet and born into a world of silk and silver spoons. She had watched Maggie's perfomance from the front row and had been moved by  the raw, desparate passion in the blonde girl's eyes. "I will pay for it," said Ellie appearing at Maggies side. "no strings attatched. I just.. I have never seen anyone move with that much heart."
