Fivos Delivorias is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Greek music, known for blending witty lyricism with melodic sophistication. Born in Athens in 1971, he showed musical talent from a young age and released his first album, “O Kafes”, when he was still a teenager. This early debut signaled the arrival of an artist who would not only write songs but also craft narratives filled with humor, irony, and emotional depth.
Delivorias’ music resists easy categorization. Drawing from traditional Greek sounds, Western pop, and theatrical influences, his style often feels like storytelling set to music. His lyrics are especially celebrated for their intelligence and observational quality. Rather than focusing solely on romance or personal struggles, he frequently explores urban life, social habits, and the absurdities of modern existence. This makes his work relatable while also intellectually engaging.
Throughout his career, Delivorias has released numerous albums that have resonated with both critics and audiences. Works like “I Zoi Mono Etsi Einai Oraia” and “Kallithea” demonstrate his ability to evolve artistically while maintaining a consistent voice. His songs often feature vivid characters and situations, almost like short films or theatrical sketches. This narrative approach sets him apart from many mainstream artists and aligns him more closely with the tradition of singer-songwriters who prioritize storytelling.

Beyond music, Delivorias has been involved in theater and radio, further showcasing his versatility. His stage presence and performances often incorporate elements of acting and humor, reinforcing the idea that he is not just a musician but a broader cultural figure. This multidisciplinary approach has helped him maintain relevance across different generations of listeners.
An important aspect of Delivorias’ appeal is his authenticity. He does not conform to commercial trends but instead follows his own artistic instincts. This independence has earned him a loyal fan base that appreciates his originality and sincerity. In an industry often driven by formula, his work stands out as thoughtful and personal.
In conclusion, Fivos Delivorias represents a unique blend of musician, storyteller, and cultural commentator. His contribution to Greek music goes beyond hit songs; he has created a body of work that reflects society with humor, insight, and creativity. As a result, he remains an influential figure whose artistry continues to inspire and entertain.

Mariza Rizou is one of the most prominent and vibrant contemporary Greek singers and songwriters. Known for her infectious onstage energy, theatrical flair, and a distinct musical style that bridges pop, jazz, swing, and traditional Greek melodies, she has firmly established herself in the Greek music scene.
Biography & Early Life
Mariza Rizou was born on October 13, 1986, in Arta, Greece, but moved to Athens at a very young age, growing up in the northern suburb of Neo Irakleio.
While music was her childhood passion - she frequently stood out as the strongest voice in her school choir - she didn't take a direct path into the music industry. To appease her family, she pursued an academic track, graduating from the prestigious Department of Communication and Media Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Before committing to music full-time, she worked in a publishing house and a major advertising/marketing agency.
However, realizing she wouldn't be genuinely happy without music, she took a leap of faith, left corporate advertising, and began carving out her unique artistic path.
Career Breakthrough & Musical Style
Mariza first burst into public consciousness in 2012 with a highly successful, upbeat bossa nova cover of "I Bossa Nova tou Isaia" (The Bossa Nova of Isaiah), originally written by the famous Greek songwriter Fivos Delivorias.
Her signature style blends vintage aesthetics with a contemporary feel, heavily featuring elements of modern swing, jazz, and Mediterranean pop. Her music is often described as inherently "feel-good," balanced with a theatrical, communicative performance style that heavily relies on interaction with her audience.
