It was nothing better than rain with snow that went up to your knee, but no shorter than your waist. Her legs were trembling because when she tried to move she couldn't, when she looked down at her legs, they were tied up tight and she couldn't even slip out no matter how hard she tried. After an hour passed she looked down again, and the rope had become frozen then broke because of how fragile the ice was.
