Today I woke up and carefully walked to the kitchen. I counted my steps because I cannot see. My mother helped me prepare breakfast.

Students' diary
At school, I used my white cane. My friends helped me walk safely, and I felt happy because I was not alone.
In class, I listened carefully to my teacher and imagined the pictures in my mind. It was sometimes difficult, but I tried my best.
During the break, I felt the warm sun and the gentle wind. It made me peaceful.
Today I learned that even if we experience life differently, we can still be happy and strong.

Today was a wonderful day. After a big breakfast, I went to school. At break my friends wanted to play "Hide and seek".Since I cannot see,my friends were helpful and creative.I was anxious but my friend changed some rules for me.They made some noises for me to find them. I followed the sounds carefully and found them.We all laughed together.
I felt happy because they included me in the game.Real friends always find a way to play together.
In the afternoon we sat on the grass and shared our sandwiches.I felt very happy because they didn't leave me out.
When I got back home I told my day to my mum and she told me how lucky I am to have such friends.

Wednesday
When I arrive at school, my teacher and friends greet me with smiles. This makes me happy. Our first lesson is Turkish. Sometimes I have difficulty understanding some words when reading. My teacher patiently helps me. I feel more secure when I receive help.
During recess, I go out to the garden with my friends. We play games and chat together. Sometimes it takes me a while to understand the rules of the game.
I feel valued when my friends explain things to me.
In math class, we do addition and subtraction. I solve some problems immediately, while others are more difficult. When I get the problem right, I am very happy and proud of myself.
During lunch, I sit at the same table with my friends. I enjoy laughing and talking together. I feel happy and comfortable among them.
In the last lesson of the day, we do drawing. I love drawing because I can draw what I imagine on paper. I am very happy when my teacher likes the drawing I have made.

Diary of a victim of bullying
Friday
I'm finally in my room. I've closed the door, and now there's only the sound of the rain outside. My hands are still shaking a little as I write, as if the cold from this afternoon doesn't want to leave. Today was an incredibly heavy day. During the break, a classmate started making fun of me again. He always does it when the group is around: mean words, snickering, that way of making me feel small and 'wrong' in front of everyone just because of who I am or how I speak. I felt like I was suffocating; I just wanted to disappear or become invisible.
Just as I was about to burst into tears, something unexpected happened. Another classmate, someone who usually keeps to himself, stood up and stepped in. He told him clearly to stop, that he wasn't making anyone laugh, and that it was time to end this senseless cruelty. For a moment, there was silence. The bully just stood there, caught off guard, because he didn't expect anyone to stand up to him like that-calmly, but firmly. Then he walked away muttering something, but the cycle was broken. That gesture changed my day.
It made me realize that I'm not alone and that there is still someone who has the courage to do the right thing. I still feel a bit hurt by the words I heard, but the warmth of that support is stronger than the pain. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. Now, I'll try to get some rest."sually keeps to himself, stood up and stepped in. He told him clearly to stop, that he wasn't making anyone laugh, and that it was time to end this senseless cruelty. Monday
Every day I wake up and start my day slowly. I have a disability in my legs, so some things are harder and take more time. But I always try my best.
During the day I do simple things, like study or do things I like. Small things are important to me, and I feel happy when I do them. I try to stay positive.
In the evening I rest and think about my day. Even if things are difficult, I try to be strong and keep going every day.

It has three weeks I stay in Italy. Everything is so different!
In my old school in America we were very quiet, but here everyone talks at the same time, it's very energic.
At lunch I missed my lunch box, but my classmate offered me a pice of sandwiches. It was delicious.
Learning the language is hard, but today I learned five new words. In the afternoon I do my homework with my mom.

The day of a student in a wheelchair
Dear Diary,
Today was one of those days that felt really long, even though nothing huge actually happened. I woke up early because Mom had to help me get ready for school. Sometimes I wish I could just jump out of bed and run like other kids, but my wheelchair doesn’t exactly make mornings fast.
