sharks. the whale shark has the most controversy (con-trowv-er-see) but it is actually just the largest shark that we know of! other than the megalodon! 

there are many other ugly sharks, but we will go over them in the last chapter of this book.

whales. the beluga whale is one of the smallest whales out there! and one of the friendliest!

the blue whale is the largest animal in existence! yup! that's right! not just the biggest fish, but out of mammals, fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and insects, it is the biggest animal! crazy to think about, huh? 

a blue whale's tongue weighs about 6,000 - 8,000 pounds.
