I dedicate this book to everyone who helped me become who I am today. Including God, family, teachers, friends, coaches, and the ones who gave me advice. Through all the bad there was someone I can always count on. Through all the good there was always someone who can count on me. I didn't like to learn back then but now I do. I want to continue learning so that way I can be the best I can be. Thank you.

Early in the morning
One punch after another
Bell ringing
One punch after another
We touched gloves
One punch after another
Double jab initiates it
One punch after another
Imitation Poem: In The Moment
One, one. Both land
One punch after another
One, two. He lands
One punch after another
Another one, two. None lands
One punch after another
Push forward, pump the jab and set up
One punch after another
He tries to counter, but leaves chin wide open
One punch after another
Imitation Poem: Description
I wrote down what I think while I am fighting and how I feel. I was trying to get people to feel how I would normally feel and what the thinking process is. There's a lot of strategy and thinking that needs to go into fighting, not all fighter are dumb. Timing has to be near perfect in order to do certain things and that takes lots of concentration.
Found poem: Peaceful
Mama is asleep
Finally, she sleeps in her own bed
In her own room
The sun is up
I close my eyes
I can hear doves
Birds are singing
I open my eyes
Light finds the window
And creates my hand
Light flooding the garden
And then golden the white Silvia
The marigolds, shimmering in the new morning dew like glass

Found Poem: Description
It's written this way because I wanted people to imagine the beauty of things like the light from the sun adding colors to things. I used words that would be easy to imagine and what would bring people to peace. It's always good for your mom to rest.
I am who I am
I wonder of many things
I hear others
I see lies
I want a clear mind
I am strong
I don't pretend
I feel good
I Am Poem: A New Me
I try not to worry
I cry when my mom does
I am smart in many ways
I understand people
I say that we are very weak
I dream of certain things
I try in everything I do
I hope for a future
I am who God says I am
I wrote this poem this way because it tells people who I really am and what I believe in. Some of the words I used are relatable and easy to understand. I feel like a new person and my old habits and ways are gone.

Bio Poem: Description
I tried my best to think of everything in this poem and tried to represent myself. Many people can agree to what my poem says and hopefully can relate.
Ode Poem: The Truth
O, beautiful mom
You give me wisdom when I don't ask for it
There's a reason why I'm your son
You teach me when I don't want to learn
When I don't know what to do next you are there by my side
Your discipline makes me better
When I'm afraid you give me wisdom
You are the light in my darkness
When I cant sleep you give me peace
You are the sun
Ode Poem: Description
I wrote this poem because it's true. This Poem came straight from my heart on what I think about my mom. Many people have a mom and hopefully soon will appreciate how much this poem really means and can relate or realize how much moms actually do for their kids.
Definition Poem: What Love Is
Love- A sacrificial, selfless, and unconditional action- not just an emotion
I have so much love for everyone
Even the ones that don't notice me
The kind of love a mother gives to her children
To me, everyone is perfect
Who am I to judge someones faults?
I've made mistakes as well
No matter how wrong they've dine to me
I will always forgive
That's what love is
It's not something you take advantage of
Definition Poem: Description
I've took some of the things I've learned from the bible and applied in this poem. Everything in this poem is true and none of it is false. This is what love really is and it should not be looked over. Love is real and because of it we are all here.
