I Am Poem

  I am a male

  I wonder if there is an after life 

  I hear my mom when she calls my name

  I see the light when it is dark

  I want to be successful

  I am a cool person

  I pretend i understand people when i dont

  I feel loved by others

  I worry about what other people think of me

  I cry when im sad and confused

  I am a human that is living in this world

  I understand that life is short and worth living

  I say “im tired” when i dont fell like getting up

  I dream that one day i wake up in a mansion with a family

I Am Poem

The reason I wrote this poem the way that I did was because it felt right. The specific poetic devices that I used was imagery.  I also used a bit of metaphors in this writing. The thought behind this poem was just to write anything that I think I am.

Re Creation Poem: Nature

The trees were swaying in the wind

Skies were orange and the sun was yellow

The outside looked like fire

Cars drove by the wild 

It was a foggy day

Although my eyes burned from the sun

I took a deep breath in

Found a dime on the ground

My coat was making me sweat

So i ended on a narrow isle

Re Creation Poem: Nature

The setting of my Poem is in nature and a place with trees and a bit of grass. My inspiration for this poem was from how nice of a day it was when I wrote this poem. The types of poetic devices that I used were Imagery so that way the readers could almost imagine the scenery.
