“Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”
Dalai Lama

Kindness is a quiet light that warms our days and softens the shadows of existence. In small actions, in gentle words, and in gestures made without display, it builds bridges between hearts, soothes invisible wounds, and makes the world more human. To be kind is to choose tenderness in a time of haste and to let life bloom with more warmth in us and in others.

"We prepared the 'Be Kind Day' activity board.
We prepared boards with our students for the “Be Kind Day” activity. Our students prepared envelopes containing instructions for doing good deeds. Other students selected an envelope, carried out the instructions inside, and spread kindness."

Throughout the week, the school library was decorated with posters created by the 10th Grade Languages and Humanities students, raising awareness of safety and empathy online. On the library’s tree, colorful hearts displayed messages of kindness and solidarity, reminding everyone that, both on the Internet and in real life, respect and gentleness are the best ways to make the world—physical and digital — a safer and more humane place.

The students went to classrooms and read poems they had previously selected about empathy, friendship, and kindness. They also handed out bookmarks commemorating the day.

TURKEY - Eda.ze-İbn-i Sina Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Çanakkal
"Today we carried out a small social experiment at our school.
We observed how students reacted when they saw a plastic bottle on the ground.
Some students picked up the bottle and put it in the recycling bin.
To encourage this kind and responsible behavior, we rewarded these students with a small gift.
Because sometimes a better world begins with a simple act of kindness.
Protecting nature is also a way of being kind."
