Chapter 1: Maddy Gets Ready for the Sleepover

Maddy asked her mommy, Michelle, for a bag to pack her stuff in. Maddy packed her pajamas, toothbrush, comb, and clothes. 

After getting into the car, Michelle asked Maddy, "Are you going to be okay since this is your first sleepover?" Maddy said, "I am going to be fine, Mommy." As they turned the corner, they saw Vanessa and her mommy, Bina, standing in front of their house eagerly waiting for them.

Chapter 2: Maddy Gets a Surprise

Vanessa told her mommy, Bina, "I am so excited for my sleepover with Maddy!" Muffy, Vanessa's pet puppy, was also very excited to meet Maddy and was running around the house. Vanessa and Bina did not know that Maddy was super scared of dogs.

When Maddy got out of the car, Vanessa ran and gave her a hug. Maddy waved at her mommy and blew her a kiss.  As Vanessa and Maddy opened the door, the little surprise  was standing  behind the door.

Chapter 3: Maddy Meets Muffy

After Vanessa stepped inside the house, Maddy followed her with her bag. Little Muffy got excited and jumped all over Vanessa and then turned her attention to Maddy. As she prepared to jump and lick Maddy 's hands, Maddy screamed at the top of her lungs. 

As Maddy ran towards the living room, Muffy also charged behind her. Maddy jumped onto the sofa and Muffy also jumped up and tried to lick her.  Vanessa came running behind and told Maddy, " It's okay, Muffy won't do anything to you". But Maddy was shivering in fear.

Chapter 4:  Maddy Starts Crying 

Vanessa told Maddy don't be worried. Muffy is just a puppy. She is only one year old.  She is so excited to play with you.  Once you get to know her, you will have so much  fun playing with her.  

But Maddy was so scared that she started crying. Bina and Vanessa hugged Maddy.  Vanessa put Muffy in time out.  Muffy jumped off the sofa, and ran to her cage with a sad face and licked her paws.
