Has anyone ever asked you to join a gang?
Never join Gangs. They are bullies, mean and intimidating.
If anyone asks you to join a gang, be sure to tell your parents, or your teacher, or report them to the police.

Satchel was suddenly awakened by his alarm clock as usual. It was another day, and it was time to get ready for school. However, Satchel sat on the edge of his bed, struggling to stay awake. Satchel was not in a good mood.
“Satchel, what’s wrong?” asked his mother.
“Mom, I don’t want to go to school today,” said Satchel.
“Why?” asked his mother.
“Mom, it’s a new school, and I don’t know anyone. I don’t have any friends, and I’m afraid I won’t fit in. I miss all of my friends back home,” said Satchel.
Satchel’s father had received a huge job promotion that required him to move his family to Georgia. Although Satchel was happy for his father, he was sad because he missed all of his friends.

“You’re going to be just fine. Always remember to be yourself, and never try to fit in with others. If you just are yourself, you’ll make great friends,” said Satchel’s mother.
“Now eat your breakfast so that I can drop you off at school,” said his mother.
"Yes, Ma'am," said Satchel.

On the way to school, Satchel was quiet as he looked out the car window. He was feeling a bit nervous and afraid. Satchel didn’t know what to expect. As they approached the High School, Satchel’s mother said, "Son, remember to be yourself and never try to fit in with others.”
"Yes, Ma’am," said Satchel

When Satchel entered his new classroom, he quietly sat down at an empty desk without saying a word.
A few moments later, another student walked up to him.
"Hey, dude!" the student shouted.
"You're in my seat! You need to move! No one sits at my desk except me."
"Uh... I'm sorry," Satchel whispered nervously as he gathered his things and moved to another desk.
"You must be the new kid," the student said.
“Our teacher, Mrs. Thompson, said someone new was joining our class today,” said the student. “What’s your name?” asked the student.

Before Satchel could answer, four more students walked over and surrounded his desk.
"So, you're the new kid named Satchel?" one of them asked with a smirk.
"Yeah, that's him," another student replied.
"What kind of name is Satchel?" a third student said, laughing as the others snickered.
The tallest student stepped forward and crossed his arms.
"We want to talk to you after school," he said in a stern voice. "Meet us by the lockers in the hallway at exactly 3:00 p.m."
The group stared at Satchel for a moment before turning and walking away, leaving the classroom unusually quiet. Satchel thought hard, wondering to himself what they could possibly want.
Satchel was so scared that he couldn't pay attention in class all day.
"What do they want to talk to me about?" he wondered.
He kept glancing at the classroom clock.
9:00... 10:10... 11:30... 12:00... 1:00... 1:15... 2:00... 2:15...
The hours seemed to fly by, but his worried thoughts never slowed down.
Finally, Mrs. Thompson stood at the front of the classroom and smiled.
"Alright, students," she said, "it's time to head home for the day. As you leave the classroom, please clear the hallways quickly and head home safely. And don't forget—your homework assignment is due tomorrow!"

As all the students were leaving, Satchel heard someone say, “Hey, Satchel, welcome to our class. My name is David. If you have any questions or need anything, don’t hesitate to ask. I would talk more, but I have to get to basketball practice. Oh, and by the way, watch out for those guys that were talking to you today; they are bad news and are always getting into trouble,” said David.
