Marabelle was a very 

clumsy butterfly .... 

Marabelle heaved herself up from 

her fall."Hello!" a voice startled 

her! Marabelle slipped and clawed 

frantically but it was no use.She 

tumbled off the leaf and fell to the 

ground with a thud."Sorry"her 

friend Julia apologized.

Marabelle fluttered up to where Julia 

was standing."Wanna visit the flower 

garden?"Julia asked with a grin."Sure, 

whatt whoooooaaa,oof!" Marabelle fell 

to the ground with a crash. "Sure 

what time?"Marabelle asked for the 

second time. "In one second!"Julia 

said before taking off.

Marabelle hurried after Julia.Soon they 

reached the flower patch.They landed 

on the broad,flat leaf of a pipevine. 

(This was supposed to keep Marabelle 

from slipping). Nevertheless, Marabelle 

slipped and fell to the ground with a 

thud.They moved to a large 

rose,which,amazingly, managed to 

support Marabelle so they could talk. 

"We've got to find a way to fix your 

clumsiness"said Julia as Marabelle wobbled 

and fell.Marabelle agreed and flew up to join 

Julia on the rose. "I think we've tried 

everything,"Julia told Marabelle. "How could I 

forget?" Marabelle 

laughed."Sap,lessons,leaves,"Julia listed some 

failed attempts. They had tried everything.The 

situation was hopeless, and Julia knew 

it.Marabelle burst out laughing. She laughed so 

hard that she lost her balance and fell to the 

ground with a thud.

"What's so funny,"Julia asked once Marabelle 

joined her. "Oh," Marabelle said with a giggle,"I 

was just thinking about the many different 

things we tried to fix my clumsiness"she 

replied."Oh, I forgot"Julia yelled"The circus 

starts today!" Marabelle was so excited she slid 

off the rose and tumbled to the ground."Race 

you there" Julia called after her.
