Some people think that if you die and go to heaven you stay there forever but they don't know that there are angels known as the fallen. The fallen are the ones who made a mistake and were put into a separate group of angels, the outcasts or the banished as some call them. Only few of The Fallen can get rid of the title of The Fallen but only if they take a dangerous job as a guardian angel and that is exactly what Lily did

Chapter One

I was the best of the best of the angels until I made a mistake. You have to understand that in Heaven it is supposed to be a peaceful place but I made the mistake to start a fight. I was playing with my little sister, Holly, when my parents came over and told me that they were sending me away, that they needed Holly to focus and I was only a distraction and that is what set me off. I should have just said okay but now I'm a disappointment.

And that is how I became one of The Fallen. I'm an outcast, one of the banished. All I wanted to do was get back to my family but the Fallen were sent to a house on the edge of Heaven. So when the head of the house came and offered the job of a guardian angel I accepted. It was the only way to get my family back. Then I got the name, Adam Glass. I recognized the name

right away. I knew him when I was younger. He was a childhood friend.

Chapter Two

Today was the day. I was being sent down to watch over Adam. I was scared because if I don't pull this off I won't ever see my family again. When you are sent down they give you a human body sort of like a host but we don't take over there bodies because it's just us without wings. I moved in across the street from him. His folder said that he was a single

dad with two kids. As scared as I am I want to see how he turned out because guardian angels are sent down when people are in trouble. What kind of trouble could Adam have gotten into?When I was younger he was one of the nicest people I knew. I was unpacking everything that they gave me so I could fit in. It all seems so weird to me because I have been away from this kind of stuff for so long. I was about to unpack

when there was a knock on my door. I went over and saw a little girl that couldn't be over ten years old. I opened the door and the little girl started to talk before I can even get one word out.

"Hi my name is Mackenzie. I live across the street with my older sister Taylor. She's 15 and I'm nine. I brought brownies for you as a welcome gift."

"Hi Mackenzie my name is Lily. Thank you for the brownies but do your parents know your here?"

"Well, no but I wanted to say hi."

"That's very sweet. Now which one is your house so I can bring you home?" She pointed to a big three story house down the street. We walked to her house but when I was going to walk back to my house after I dropped her off she pulled me inside.

"Mackenzie, what are you doing?"

"Oh, I'm going to introduce you to my dad. He doesn't know many people around his age so he is lonely."

"That is really nice but I still need to go" I was cut off by a tall man with brown hair who had the most beautiful blue eyes.

"Mackenzie, who is this?"

"This is Lily daddy. She just moved down the street and your always lonely so I took her over

here to meet you." Her dad blushed in embarrassment when she said that he was lonely.

"Honey, why don't you go to your room while I talk to Ms. Lily." Mackenzie ran up the stairs but not before turning around and winking at me.

"Sorry about Mackenzie she can be a handful sometimes."

"No worries she seems like a sweet heart."

"She is. I love her to death." He said that with a goofy grin on his face that would make a girl drool. "Oh, wow, I'm talking to you and you don't even know my name. My name is Adam Glass." I went wide eyed but composed my self right after.

"I'm Lily, nice to meet you."

Chapter Three

When I got back to my new house I closed my front door and slid down the door. I'm thinking to myself why does the person I'm watching over have to be cute. Going back to unpacking trying to get him off my mind for a while worked for a little while until I heard a scream that sounded like a banshee. I ran down the street and found Adams front door kicked in.
