"CARA!", yelled Cara's mom. "YOU'RE NOT DANCING ON THE BED, ARE YOU?" "Oh, sorry about that, Mom!", said Cara. "But I can't help it when I am so happy and there is no school for me today!" "Oh!", said Cara's mom. "That's okay, Cara! BUT DON'T DO THAT AGAIN OR YOU'RE GROUNDED! Come meet us downstairs! We are going somewhere special on Veteran's Day!"

"Where are we going that is so special?", asked Cara when they were in the car. "We are going to Washington D.C to celebrate Veteran's Day!", Cara's dad replied excitedly. "But why?", asked Cara. "Washington D.C is where we meet the men and women who have been proudly served!", Cara's mom replied.

"I think it's going to be boring!", said Cara angrily. "I think it is going to be fun!", said Cara's mom excitedly. "You might see the president!" "Still boring!", said Cara. "Oh!", said Cara's dad.
