A is for Atmosphere! Above us is the Northern Lights and we can Define this as a beautiful show of a light under the blue stars! Aurora Borealis is defined as a light show that the universe provides us! It can also be defined as a Atmospheric Phenomenon, this is provided by the solar part of our earth using the earths magnetic forces!

B is for Big Bang! The Big Bang theory is a theory in astronomy! The universe originated billions of years ago in an explosion from a single point of energy density!

C is for Constellation! A constellation is a group of stars in the stratosphere that form a pattern that is named after it apparent form or identified with a mythological figure. Astronomers divide the constellations within boundaries! From the sky we can see comets and even asteroids!

D is for Desert! Desert’s has various temperatures! The living conditions are risky for animals and plants. The heat energy is a form of energy that is transferred by a difference in temperature.

E is for Earth! Earth is our home planet, the 3rd away from the sun. We can live on earth because of the particular climate the the supply of water found on the surfaces and throughout the layers of the earth, in which we need to in order to survive.

F is for Fossil! Fossils are old remains that can be from a plant or an animal! Because they are decayed and old they turn into stone. Every shape of a fossil can be different from another fossil. Some say that we get our oil from fossils! The fossils can be found in the layers of the sedimentary rocks!

G is for Geology! Geology deals with the earths physical structure and substances. There are scientists who are titled Geologists and they study is made of and how it was shaped and formed. The geological time scale is a system of chronological measurement that relates stratigraphy to time, and is used by geologists, paleontologists, and other Earth scientists to describe the timing and relationships between events that have occurred throughout Earth’s history.

H is for H2O! H2O is easy to absorb and and easy to boil. H2O contains Hydrogen and Oxygen. H2O is water, and water is essential to humans. Water can be found is various areas on earth, Throughout the oceans and even outside you can find H2O!

I is for Iceberg! An iceberg is a large floating mass of ice detached from a glacier or ice sheet and carried out throughout the ocean. The Iceberg has been frozen with below absolute zero temperatures! Icebergs are small and glaciers are huge! Glaciers can break off and create icebergs from that alone!

J is for Jupiter! Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun and the largest in the solar system! It is a giant planet with a man of 1,000 that of the sun, but two and a half times that of all other planets in the Solar System combined! The color of the planet looks like it has different layers!

K is for Kepler! Johannes Kepler was an astronomer who was a figure best known for his laws of planetary motions. Kepler’s work was used for the base for one of the foundations for Isaac Newton’s theory of universal gravitation.

L is for Lava! Lava is the molten rock expelled by a volcano during an eruption! From lava, rocks are created! Molten Rock is formed in the interior of some planets, including the planet we live on, Earth! Health melts the rock, the lava reaches from 700 to 1,200 Celsius!

M is for Mars! Mars is the fourth planet away from the sun and the is the smallest planet in the solar system. The nickname that was given to mars is the Red Planet! This planets diameter is 4222 miles and a mean distance from the sun of 141.6 million miles. This planet also has two different moons where as we only have one!

N is for Nucleus! The nucleus is the small and dense region that consists of protons and neutrons that are in the center of an atom. Protons and neutrons are bound together to form a nucleus by the nuclear force.
