On a field trip to the Rock Spot, young Joshua

Bariteau started a club called The S.S.M.P.

It stands for The Super Secret Monster Patrol,

a elite group that hunts the supernatural and protects the earth. But they do it in secret. The

club includes Lauren, Ricky, and Nehemiah

CHAPTER 1 THE LIVING CAR

On the way back to school, Nehemiah found a ghost. " GHOST! " called out Nehemiah. " We have found our first monster. " I announced.

" The Living Car." I said. " How do we stop it?"

asked Ricky. " Simple," I said " Water." I said. " Why?" asked Lauren. " Because a ghosts number one weakness is water." I told them.

" We can set a trap." I said. " First things first."

"We have to get discription from Nehemiah."

I explained. Lauren drew a picture. " What are

we going to do?" asked Ricky. "Find it before it attacks anybody." I said. This was my first case.

This was my big moment. I was scared stiff.

It was terrifying. On the way back from Southwick Zoo, I learned something about Lauren.

CHAPTER 2: THE SECRETS

Lauren was a vampire. Worse than that, she was the decendent of Count Dracula. This was weird enough until I learned Ricky was a werewolf. This was crazy.

It was crazy. I learned she didn't trust me. I can not blame her. This was the impossible. Before I thought I was chasing the impossible. " Nessie is dangerous, but not as deadly as the The Living Car.

Chapter 3: The Heir

" I will chose a sidekick, my heir, a recruit, Eric. The Chosen One " Lock and load. Nehemiah, engage the smoke machine. Ricky, grab the gas masks. Lauren, grab my suit." It was awesome. We stopped the the ghoul. It was time to find Eric.

I now want protect my home from evil beings from beyond the grave. I am The Defender. I can do what the police, the army, and citizens cant. Others have joined my crusade to them I am Joshua Bariteau, to the rest of Rhode Island I am someone else I am something else.

CHAPTER 5: THE MASKED MAN

" This is awesome. It is time. To the van." I said. In the garage, There was a blue and black van, The Anti-Monster Mobile, with a computer, garlic-injected tranquilizer blaster, and cloaking device. It was awesome and fast powered by a nuclear rector instead of a engine. It has a hologram projector. Then The Living Car zoomed past me . " Hunters I'm in pursuit." I said. " He's got weapons, Well, I have weapons too,activate sonic disrupters." " Time to really crack up." They destroyed the glass then it popped two tires. " Activate the tow cables. I'm bringing it in." I said firmly.
