Chapter 1

The Brave and The Bigger

It has been three years since Jake stopped Doctor Roger Jordan. However, GRID was still active and he knew they wouldn't stop. Bill was tracking Major Victor Vasquez, the new leader of GRID.

Jake suited up and flew to the GRID base known as Point C. Unknown to Jake, Vasquez was mutated into a beluga whale, with blank white skin as a result of genetic alteration to the DNA. He called himself the White Whale. "Vasquez, I'm shutting you down for good. You are-" Jake gasped. "What's wrong, Raven. Afraid of something bigger than you," Victor told Jake

GRID soldiers grabbed energy cannons and fired at Jake, who easily dodged their attacks. But then Vasquez jumped at Jake and pummeled him into the ground. He then put a metal pipe over Jake, who shredded it to sharp points and lunged at Victor. Vasquez was impaled in the leg. Unknown to Jake, he could heal. Victor grabbed the pipe and stabbed Jake in the stomach. 

The FBI saved Jake. Jake left the FBI base. He went to the NEST. "Where are you going?" asked Bill. "To a old friend," Jake said.

After Dr Roger Jordan was locked up in The Jewel of Osiris, a FBI task force broke into GRID's primary facility. Most of the DNA was missing, and most of the test subjects were dead. Only 12 remained, each infused with animal DNA. One of which were infused with the DNA of a Red Robin. Her name was Amaya Richards, and her mutation was identical to Jake's. She had dark red wings with lighter highlights. Same thing with her hair.  

Jake arrived at The Jewel of Osiris and walked to Dr. Jordan's cell. "Well, if it isn't Raven." said Jordan. "I need your help." Jake said.

"So, you want the help of a dangerous criminal with superpowers. Tell me, what is a ability of the beluga whale that is shared by other animals?" Jordan said. "Echolocation. That's how countered my attacks. A pulse of sound should disrupt his echolocation." Jake said. He went back to the NEST.

"I need you to make something that can release a high pitched pulse of sound. And how is Project RED ROBIN coming along?" Jake asked Bill. "It's not going to be finished until July 2020. I've actually been working on a device like you described. It's finished, and I've been running a scan for creature sightings." said Bill.
