This is a memory that I can never forget. I remember having a big imagination when I was seven years old. I remember telling my nephews stories that I have imagine in my head.

My mom noticed that I like to tell stories so she bought me different books filled with different fiction stories of adventures, but the problem was that I could not understand a lot of the words

I always had the book with me and when my mom was to ever pass by me, I would pretend to read. 

In class, I dread read aloud. During reading time, my teacher Ms. Bonnie would make every student read a paragraph. I would always get nervous when it got to my turn or I would make an excuse to not read.

I hated when we have to write in our journal. There was so much that i wanted to write about but it was hard for me because it was a challenge to spell.

One day Ms. Bonnie came up to me and told me she knew that I was having trouble with reading. she told me that she noticed my body language changing when it comes to reading and she said that the words in my journal looked strange. I was embarrassed that my teacher knew my secret.

Ms. Bonnie told me that she knew that I like telling stories but she told me that i need to write it down on paper. I remember giving her this look like "I'm struggling in reading and writing" (it was really funny).

Ms Bonnie suggested that during the next read aloud, the whole class will move to the carpet and I could tell them one of my stories. I was really excited because I get to do what I love.
