The test
A nice new winter day at a park 30 minutes before school starts is where three friends met to discuss their progress and their enjoyment in their middle school classes.
“I promise this’ll be quick” Says Joe, a 12 year old blond male
I’ve got better things to do, and I hate bringing education anywhere else than in school. Even in there I don’t like it!” Says Mary, a 13 year old brown-haired female.
“Phew! It was hard to find you all, I was at the library and there are so many people here!” Says Paul, A 12 year old dark-haired male.
As the three of them sat down they realized Paul was correct, the park was full of people, each of them doing their own thing and progressing at their own pace.
“The grass is green, the sky is clear, the park is busy as usual, pretty much average, I’d say” Paul said.
“Anyways can we get on with our discussion? I need to go uh, not talk about schooling somewhere else” Mary said.
“Yeah, let’s start, I probably have another book to read at the library” Paul said.
“Ok.” Joe said
As they started to discuss how their high school classes were Mary brought up a crucial point..
“My grades look good and I don’t even get to class on time” Mary said.
“Your grades are a reflection of your efficiency, but not your attendance.” Paul replied
“So what? I could care less about attendance, I hate being in the school” Mary replied
“I don’t know, we got some pretty important things coming up and you might wanna be there” Paul said
“I could care less about important things! My grades look good so I can miss a few days. In fact, I’m not coming to school today! Goodbye!” Mary said as she ran off with her friends.
“But something important could be going on.Nevermind..” Paul muttered as she ran away
“I’ll promise to buy whoevers right an ice cream tomorrow.” Joe said as they all departed

“I’ll promise to buy whoevers right an ice cream tomorrow.” Joe said as they all departed
“She decided her grades were so good, she could miss a few days without lowering her grade” Paul informed the teacher.
The teacher was pale, almost shocked to hear this. The teacher asked Paul and Joe why she would think this way.
“I promised to buy her ice cream if she was right and I promised to buy Paul ice cream if he was right.” Joe said
“She hated school and could care less about being in class” Paul added
“She has made a mistake in not coming today, could you possibly get her to come, even if she late? She needs to know about today” The teacher said
“No, she won’t answer her phone. No matter how many times I text her” Paul said as he shook his head
