For Annie and Cynthia

Once there was a young girl. She sat on a rock as the sun went down, her hair swiftly flying behind her as the chilly breeze flew past her.
The sky was a beautiful shade of pink, red, and other pretty colors.
The girl had bright, blue eyes and light brown hair. As she sat quietly on the rock, she turned around and saw in the distance her family.

After a few seconds she realized it was just her imagination . It was now night and the stars where shining like lanterns. She wrapped a small, fluffy, and worn-out blanket around her as she smiled looking at the moonlight.

She fell asleep in the moonlight. She was awoken by a crowing rooster. She hadn't realized the night before that she was next to a very big town. She heard people buzzing about.

A very beautiful woman walked up to the girl. "Are you lost?" said the women. "What is your name? Maybe I can help you," she added.
"I'm Rose, and I don't have a family, so I am technically lost," the girl said.
"I'm Daisy. Come to my home. It is very cozy," said the beautiful woman. Daisy smiled sweetly.

Daisy lead Rose to her home. Daisy was right. It was a very cozy home. Rose saw a couple more people in the home. "This is some of my family," said Daisy.

Rose looked around. She looked as though she wanted to say something, but she didn't. Daisy looked at Rose curiously . "Is there something wrong?" Daisy asked.
"Do you think... maybe... I could live here?" Rose said quietly.
"No, no, no. I'm afraid you can't, but you can stay for the night," said Daisy.
"YES" Rose said immediately.
"Well then, follow me." said Daisy

Daisy lead Rose to another room."Well this is all," Daisy said.
"I LOVE it!!!" Rose said.
"You're going to have to leave tomorrow. Before you go I want to do something," Daisy said.
"What is it?" Rose asked.
" I'm not crazy good at fashion, but I want to make you pretty like me,"
"Sure!" Rose said.
"Follow me," Daisy replied.

Daisy and Rose went to a different room with lipstick, dresses, mirrors, jewels, crowns purses, and bags. "I would call this my salon, but it really isn't," said Daisy. "Well then, we better get started, so you can go to bed soon,"
"Yes, please. I'm very tired," Rose replied.

Daisy started doing Rose's hair and then put some makeup on Rose and then put some jewelry on Rose and finally Rose had put on a new dress. Daisy lead Rose to a mirror. "Like it?" Daisy asked.
Rose looked at the mirror astonished and said, "It's beautiful! I mean, how did you do it?" Daisy blushed.
"It's one of my talents," she said. "It makes a big difference," Daisy said smiling a tiny bit.

The next morning instead of a crowing rooster, Rose was awaken by Daisy. "I'm so sorry. You have to leave now. I didn't intend for you to leave, but those are my parents orders,"said Daisy. "I don't know where you are going to go, but I hope you find somewhere where you feel at home," she added. Daisy smiled weakly. "You better get going because you were actually supposed to leave yesterday, but my parents don't know you stayed the night, so you have to go like NOW. Sorry,"said Daisy.
"Well, bye, I guess," said Rose.

Rose wandered off not knowing where she was. She saw a waterfall. Then, she stayed there for a bit to rest. She started to hum a little song not knowing if she was happy or not. She was happy because she was in the beautiful wilderness but sad because she did not have a home or family. She was mixed up with so many feelings, so she decided that she should leave soon.

Rose's eyes began to water. She started to softly cry. Rose hadn't payed attention to a mushroom right next to her. "Hello!" said a high pitched voice. Rose turned around quickly and saw a cute little girl sitting on the mushroom.
"Who are you? And how old are you?" said Rose.
"Um... I don't know what you would call me, but I'm very rare. I help people who are sad. I don't really have an age, and I'm not really alive or dead," said Alice.
