On a hot August afternoon, Scarlett, Willow and two other friends went to a cafe to get drinks and hang out.

While she was typing, Scarlett saw a sudden shadow outside the cafe, but when she turned around, there was no one there. “Well that was weird,” Scarlett thought. After she set up her profile, she waited for a few minutes to get a match, but there was nothing. After 30 minutes, she decided to head home.

After, Scarlett and Willow were done at the cafe with their other friends they began to walk back to Willow's house. After they had dinner at Willow's house, they went up to Willow's room.

After dinner, Scarlett and Willow went to Scarlett’s room when they suddenly heard a ding from Scarlett’s phone.

Oh look Willow! I got a match.  OH MY GOD! I got a match! It’s a guy named Damian and he’s cute! Look at his profile!

He looks and sounds too good to be true

A few days later Scarlett and Willow continued to talk to the mysterious Damian.

Welcome Back To School

As the school year started up again Scarlett was too busy to talk to Damian because she was busy with school and catching up with her friends. Two weeks had passed since they talked.

So how was you guys summer, Scarlett and I had so much fun hanging out with each other like always.

Zoe and I had fun hanging out together this summer as well.

Later Scarlett and Willow were walking home and they reached they old park that they passed by to get to Scarlett’s house. Since is was a nice day and they had not been to the park in a really long time, they decided that they wanted to stop by for old times sake. While they were at the park, around half an hour later, as they were leaving a boy had swerved out of they way so that he didn’t hit them with his bike. Like caring people Scarlett and Willow stayed and helped the boy.

Yeah we have it's like we have known each other for years; you know like old friends being reunited.

So you have been talking to him more since summer?

When they helped him they realized that they boy was their childhood friend Nathan, who they haven’t really spoken to since the 9th grade unless they were in the same class, and they had the speak to each other.

Oh hi Nathan we didn't realize that it was you. How have you been?

When Scarlett got home she started to text Damian about how she was glad that she reconnected with her old friend who she didn’t really talk to over the past three years. Every Friday Willow, Scarlett and Nathan would all walk over to the park and hang out unless they had other plans that day and would not be able to make it.

As the time went on Scarlett was becoming more and more curious because she had been talking to Damian for almost two months and had never met him. So one day with Willow after school she messaged him and slowly got into the conversation of going somewhere to meet up. When she asked him he gave her this really quick excuse as to why he could not not meet up with her, he said that he was on vacation and would not be back for a couple of weeks but he could still text her.

So I’ve been talking to Damian and I think I really like him

I know, but he’s on vacation right now

During the past month, Scarlett and Damian have gotten even closer and she finally texted him again asking him to meet up sometime. It took Damian a while to respond but he said that he was sick. Additionally, Scarlett, Willow and Nathan were all getting closer like how it was when they were kids as the time went on.

I feel like he doesn’t want to meet me. I mean everytime I talk to him about meeting he changes the subject, and when I ask him to meet, he always has an excuse

The next week, Scarlett stopped responding to Damian’s texts as frequently and one day, he finally responded to one of her texts asking her to meet. Scarlett happily responded yes. The following Saturday, Scarlett and Willow were in Scarlett’s room choosing an outfit to meet Damian.

I'm so excited Willow we have been talking for around three months we we are finally going to meet each other.

When Scarlett reached the cafe, she sat in one of the outdoor patio tables and waited. She ordered a green tea latte to pass the time. After 10 minutes, she begun to get worried and texted Damian to ask if he was still coming. After 30 minutes, there was still no reply. Scarlett begun to get a little mad, but calmed herself and waited. After an hour, she still had no text and decided to leave and rushed to Willow’s house.

I don't think that he is coming.

He blew me off!

What a jerk!

Scarlett’s phone suddenly dinged and she saw that there was a text from Damian that said he was sorry for standing her up, but he was busy.

Wow, can you believe the nerve of this guy?! He said he’s sorry but was busy

That was such a lame excuse. I feel like there’s something more going on with him. We need to investigate

The next day after school, Scarlett and Willow went to Willow's room to do some research on Damian. They started to look on different social media apps and they even decided to search his name in google.

Willow I haven't been able to find anything on this guy, have you?
