Once upon a time, there was an old couple living
in a grass-made house. They were happy with all
they had except for one thing: they had no child.
so they prayed to the god day after day, and they
finally got a girl. They called her "Kong Gee".
Few days after Kong Gee was born, her mother
died because she was to old for having a baby
that time.

Congratulation!
Thank you!
18 years later, Kong Gee was ready to get
married with somebody. Because of this, many
villagers told her father to marry with someone
else to help him when Kong Gee is gone. So Kong
Gee's father married with a woman called Bae See.
Bae See was a cruel woman who didn't like to see
others living better than her. And she had a
daughter who was crueler than her. This girl is
Path Gee.

AHHHH!
Take what ever you want.
While Path Gee and Bae See were resting all day long, she
had to go out to field and plant seed in the ground, with a
wooden made shovel. When she was planting, the shovel
broke apart. When she was crying, suddenly a cow appeared
and asked her, "Why are you crying?" she replied, "My
stepmother asked me to use a wooden shovel to plant all the
seeds in the ground." The cow told her to take a bath and
come back. When she came back, all the work was finished
and there was fruits on the ground.
And all other various things happened to her when she had
problems with her stepmother.

You're welcome.
You're welcome!!
Thank You!
When Kong Gee's aunt's birthday came, Bae See and Path
Gee made her work so much that a human can't work it in 2
hours, which is the start for the party. She had to make a
fine cloth, and she had to peel the outer part of the wheat.
After few minutes, some birds started to come by the
wheat. When she came closer to chase them away, she saw
that they were helping her to peel the shell off!
After the birds peeled all wheat, Kong Gee went for making
a fine cloth. Then a fairy came and helped her making the
cloth and gave a beautiful silk dress and a pair of kkotsin (꽃신:
Type of Korean shoe that has colorful flowers painted on it) , to help her go to
the party.

Think I'm goingto be late!
No, you're not!

After she changed her clothes, she
walked to her aunt's house. When she
was walking, the mayor came by. She
was so surprised that she didn't even
notice that she lost one of her shoes!
When she arrived, she found that her
shoe was lost!
