BOB ROSS'S Cell

Well SHALISA, today we are going to learn about a bob ross's CELL!
HI Dr. Cellular Data, what will we be learning about today?

AHHHHHH!!!! I'm thicc though!
MY BODY!!!

PHEW! MY BODY!

I'M ON a bob ross mountain! NOW LETS GO INSIDE AND GET A CELL!

Ah A CELL!

WAIT! What exactly is a cell?
Cells make up everything in your everyday life! They can be BIG trees to little bacteria on your hand to a mouse running around!
Oh so a cell is really anything and they are everywhere?
YUP!

The 2 types are Prokaryotes, bacteria, and Eukaryotes, plants/animals!
I get it now! But, what are the different parts of the cell?
Glad you asked follow me!
First up the MITOCONDRIA!

First up is the MITOCHONDRIA- the power house of the cell, what keeps you awake, breathing, and WOKE! Almost like a party for the cell that breaks down sugars
and other compounds into cellular energy!

Cool, I get it. The mitochondria is "mito" sorry that was really bad but it a mighty part of the cell!
The NUCLEUS

Ah yes, the nucleus. The nucleus consists of a nuclear envelope, chromatin, and a nucleolus. The nuclear envelope is like a gate for the neucleus that lets things pass through the nucleus. Chromatin consists of most of your DNA. The nucleolus is the core of the nucleus which produces organelles called ribosomes.

That's wild how much the nucleus does and how each part of it functions!
The CELL MEMBRANE!

The cell membrane surrounds the animal's cell regulating what goes in and out of the cell. The cell membrane is made from a double lipid, proteins and carbohydrates are embedded and preform roles like receiving cellular signals and channel signals through through the membrane. This is like a gate for the WHOLE cell!

WOW! Who knew parts of cells, had so many parts and functions?
LYSOSOMES

Lysosomes are like the trashcans of the cell that contain a range of enzymes that allow them to digest molecules like lipids, carbohydrates, and proteins.
WOWwwwwww.......wow!
