When Alice Catherine was a child, she was very unique.
This is because Alice Catherine
loved to play dress up! She would go on dark adventures
with knights and even fight the evil monster ,Black Licorice.

One very chilly night, Alice Catherine was determined to
conquer Black Licorice! She bundled up with her favorite
green sweater for the long journey to come. When she got to
her mythical place of Nutella, Alice Catherine spotted her
best friend Sydney!

“Hey Sydney, will you help me slay the monster?” she
shouted loudly.
“Sure, AC! That evil monster ate all of my cookies!”
Sydney cried.
So then, Alice Catherine and Sydney trotted off towards
the lair of the beast.

The beast was there. His bright red eyes gleamed
against the darkness of his scales. The girls screamed
and began to run away when AC thought to herself,
“Hey, this dragon isn’t real, it’s my imagination ,so I
can be brave and defeat him!”

Alice Catherine pulled out her foam sword and ran towards
the dragon screaming, “YOU ATE MY FRIEND’S
COOKIES ,AND YOU ARE SO MEAN!” Then, the dragon
looked at Alice Catherine and said quietly, “I’m sorry.”

Alice Catherine and Sydney looked at the dragon wide
eyed, “What?”
“I am so sorry I took your cookies, I just wanted a
snack!” he explained.
Alice Catherine and Sydney look at him, confused,
“Um it’s okay,” Alice Catherine mumbled.

“Thank you for not hurting me,” the dragon said, “I
know your strength and bravery, so now all shall call
you Katie the Great-y!”
“Katie the Great-y!” they all shouted in unison.

Alice Catherine waved good bye to both the dragon and
Sydney. “I’ll see you later!” she exclaimed.
When she arrived back in her bed she whispered with a
smile, “Katie the Great-y.”
