Callie was in Mommy's tummy for nine months before she was born! In that time, Callie was starting to transform. The most important part of her body was transforming, her brain!

Prenatal & Newborn
She could hear Mommy's and Daddy's voice when she was still in the tummy. Now, she can hear the car ride home. Callie's brain can do many things even though she's a baby.

One person that was super excited to meet Callie and learn about her and how she thinks, was her uncle Jean Piaget!

Uncle Jean loved to spend time with Callie when she was growing up. As a baby, Jean learned that Callie loved to touch things. She especially loved her soft teddy bear named Henry. Callie at first was a little nervous about meeting her Uncle Jean so Mommy and Daddy had to stay for a while because she learned to trust them.
Infancy & Childhood

The next couple of days, Callie trusted Jean so Mommy and Daddy went home. One time, Uncle Jean noticed that Callie confused her puppy Lilah, as her teddy bear Henry! Jean showed her Henry instead and now she knows that Lilah is a dog and not a teddy bear!

Hi Lala!

Uncle Jean loved to ask Callie questions like if she thought her teddy Henry was a real bear. Callie is only two years old now, so she really thought Henry was a real bear!

Callie, that's just teddy!

Uncle Jean loved to spend time with Callie, but sometimes Callie got frustrated. If she didn't get her teddy Henry when she wanted it, she would start to cry. Uncle Jean had to be patient with Callie.

Callie, it's okay!
Teddy!

Now that Callie is four, she loves to ask questions. Her favorite question always has "why" in it.
Callie look at the big clouds!
Why are they so big?

Uncle Jean came back all the time to spend time with Callie. Now Callie is seven and is starting to grow up and is learning a lot of things.

She's even going to school now. She has been learning different things like math problems and knows now what are good and bad things to do.

Another the thing she learned is how much stuff she has. When her Uncle Jean and her were to eat breakfast, she would get four big pancakes while Uncle Jean got six little ones. Callie knows that she has more pancakes than her Uncle.

Haha! I have more pancakes than you.

Callie's mom came in and told Callie that it wasn't very nice to say that to Uncle Jean. Callie's mom asked her to apologize to Uncle Jean. Callie liked the way that she asked her because she didn't yell, but she also was caring but didn't let it go as okay. Even though the next day she stole some of his pancakes, she still apologized because it was wrong ans selfish.

I'm sorry Uncle Jean.

Callie is starting to grow up fast! Callie is twelve now and is starting to think about who she wants to be when she's older. She says that she wants to be like her Uncle Jean!
I want to be just like you Uncle Jean!
Aw really Callie?
Adolescence

Since Callie wants to be like Uncle Jean, he decided to introduce her to some of his friends that are like him too!
What is it?
I have an idea...

Uncle Jean decided to show Callie one of his best friends, Harry Harlow. Harry is just like Uncle Jean, except, Harry is a little different. He really likes monkeys.

Uncle Jean loved to spend time with Callie and see how she grew up. But Harry loved to see how monkeys acted. When Callie met him, she was not expecting there to be actual monkeys!
AHH!

Another person that Uncle Jean introduced Callie to was his other friend Mary Ainsworth. Mary loved babies and see how they acted with their own Mommy. She noticed that when the babies were flustered, some babies took a while to calm down with their Mommy's and others calmed down really fast with their Mommy.

Mary was curious about if Callie liked makeup or clothes because she had extra things if Callie wanted it. Callie said that she really loved clothes but didn't like makeup that much. Mary then gave her her old clothes and hoped she would love it.
I hope you like these!
Thank you Mary! I'll rock these clothes!
