Chip is a little sedimentary rock, and he loves singing, dancing and exploring. But sometimes, Chip likes to explore a little too far.

Chip doesn't remember exactly what kind of rock he started as. He will start by telling us his journey as a metamorphic rock.

Chip was hopping around when he saw a volcano! That made him remember the time when his uncle told him about a hidden treasure chest in a volcano. Chip decided to jump in!

As Chip jumped into the volcano, he noticed it was getting hot; really hot! Then, Chip started to notice not only the temperature was changing, but he was too! His luster was very sparkly and bright.

Chip had turned into magma and was very sad! Without being hard, it was hard to move, and most importantly, he couldn't find the treasure chest!

After a while, Chip turned from magma into a rock! He looked at himself, and saw that he was made of crystals! He must be an igneous rock. Now he only had to get out of the volcano.

"Whoohoo!!!" yelled Chip as he exploded out of the volcano! He was having the time of his life! After Chip safely landed on the ground, Chip decided to take a break from the treasure chest. He didn't want to be magma again.

After being through so much, Chip decided to take a nap. Suddenly, it looked like a giant was picking him up!

Look at this little rock I found! I'll take him on my trip to the ocean!

Chip was being carried by this girl, and he didn't like it at all! The girl carried him to the ocean, and suddenly, she raised her arm and threw him into the ocean!

Chip was sitting on the bottom of the ocean, sad and blue. At least he could make friends with the fish! Chip didn't have a high hardness though and started breaking into little pieces.

Chip was turning into sediments! He slowly rolled up to the sea shore!
