The Union had just won the Civil war a few weeks ago. To 

celebrate, the President Abraham Lincoln and Vice President 

Andrew Johnson decided to go watch a play at the Ford's 

Theater.

It was April 14, 1865,   weeks ago General Lee (General of 

the Confederate States of America). Everybody was 

rejoicing the victory for it saved the country. But no one 

knew Andrew's secret... He set everything up.

Andrew Johnson was secretly Abraham's friend from the 

beginning, he was elected to Vice President by Lincoln to help 

with the Civil War but he had a dark secret to go with it. No 

one would of ever saw it coming. it was a intricate and risky 

plan. Chances of it being successful were zero to none, but he 

was ready to do anything to save his beloved Confederate 

states.

Johnson was actually a secret member of the CSASS 

(Confederate States of America Secret Society). It was an 

organization formed by Andrew, General Lee, and others right 

before the start of the war.   Members were selected to 

infiltrate the Union and collect intel for the Confederates. He 

used skill and wit to become part of the Union.

Johnson made fake identification and records and had a make 

up artist to change his looks. He became friends with Lincoln 

long before his election, but Abraham didn't know Johnson's 

secret plan to conquer the Union.

So now was his time for his master plan to unfold. This was 

the night that his dream of taking back the country begins. 

Andrew was hyped inside but he didn't show it

or else Lincoln would something's up. 

The play that night was good because Andrew was really close 

to one of the actors. The actor John Wilkes Booth. during the 

time Andrew joined the CSASS, one of the members John 

Booth became Andrew's close friends. They were just alike and 

had the same views and aspirations.

On the evening before they decided to go to the play to 

celebrate, right after Andrew called up his boy "Big John" and 

planned their attack. They were going to kill the President of 

the United States. 

Lincoln and Johnson had VIP seats in the balcony. So the plan 

was to lure the body gurad out of the door and since John 

Booth was an actor in the play so he had all the access to the 

rooms and other places.

Next, John was gonna go in and shoot him in the head. It was 

a plan that was accepted by the CSASS because they had no 

other choice. The election was coming up and they couldn't let 

Lincoln win. 

So at the play when everyone was situated, Andrew went out 

during the play to go talk to the bodyguard. Hiding in another 

room, John creeped up to Lincoln's area and stealthily pulled 

out a silenced pistol.

He slowly put it up to Lincoln's head and pulled the trigger. 

Click. There was no bullet in the chamber. Abraham turned 

around quickly and saw the gun in the unknown person's 

hand. Lincoln always carried a secret pistol in his coat. He  

pulled it out and shot Booth in the chest.
