Dedicated to Mrs. Pierce's 3rd grade class at Fort Concho Elementary.

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess named Snow White. She lived with her parents in a Russian Castle, until they died in a horrific accident. Her aunt, the Evil Queen, took over the throne. She despised Snow White's beauty, kindness, and especially her artistic talent.
The Evil Queen turned to a magic paint palette, and looked into the paint palette. She said, "Paint palette, paint palette, in my hand, who is the fairest in the land?" The paint palette replied, "You my Queen are the fairest of them all, but Snow White will soon be the fairest of them all."

Snow White often went to the forest to get ideas and paint the beautiful forest backgrounds. The Evil Queen could not stand to know that Snow White would soon be the fairest of them all, so she sent a fierce bear to kill Snow White in the forest. When the bear met Snow White, he grew fond of her and refused to kill such a beautiful princess. The bear confessed the Evil Queen hired him to kill Snow White. Scared, she fled further in the forest, until she spotted a little cottage at the edge of a small clearing.

As she enters the quaint cottage, she sees three small chairs. She spots a staircase and ascends to find three small beds. Tired from her journey, Snow White laid down on one of the beds. She pondered if three small children lived in the cottage. Her eyes started to close. Suddenly, she heard the door open. Afraid to move, she remained motionless in bed as foot steps came closer. Before her eyes stood three Russian Tabbies named Belly, Telly, and Swelly.

The three Russian Tabbies' hair stood up on their back. They snarled at her. Snow White draws closer to the cats and tells them she is in great danger. Telly, Belly, and Swelly stopped snarling and become less intimidated. Then, she asked the three Russian Tabbies a question, "Would you please let me stay with you?" I promises to make dinner and clean the cottage, if you let me stay.

The three Russian Tabbies held a small meeting outside their cottage, and agreed to let Snow White remain under one condition. She must fulfill her first promise, and paint a portrait of them to hang in their cottage. Snow White accepted their offer with excitement.
It started to get late, so the three Russian Tabbies and Snow White gathered around the table, ate dinner, and went to bed.

The next morning, they all awoke and ate breakfast. The three Russian Tabbies left for work, while Snow White stood by her promise and cleaned the cottage. She soon realized she needed to get paint and a canvas, but most of all some fresh air. While walking through the forest, she noticed the items on an easel near by. The Evil Queen sat a blank canvas and a harmful toxic paint palette out along side the easel.
