Quarrelsome Brothers

There used to be four brothers; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Each of these brothers had different characteristics. Each of them thinks he is the best and nobody never likes other brothers. Therefore, the brothers can't reach an agreement with each other, they always fight. Because of these, everyone called them Quarrelsome Brothers.

Spring boasted that the trees are blooming, nature is green, and the weather get warmer, all because of me. That's why people love me more than all of you. Summer, on the other hand, said that it is a very special season because it warms the air and lets people swim. Autumn says that neither Summer nor Spring is as useful as I am, I am the most useful season. He said that I bring coolness with winds and rains, I do not make swoon people with heat. Winter belittles other seasons because you can't snow like me and paint nature in white.

The four siblings: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn argued for a long time and did not even notice that Bunny was listening to their dispute. The Bunny stood up on a stump and says:

- Quite arguing, tired of listening to you. I will go to a wide world and will know which season is the best. I’ll look at all the seasons of the year, then I’ll tell you.

The Bunny packed up a basket and went out into the forest. Bunny walked for a long time, getting warmer and warmer. He realized that spring had come. The Bunny heard the hum of a bees:

"How fun spring is," said the bees. The meadows are full of fragrant flowers, and we bees can bring a lot of honey. If it weren’t for spring, it wouldn’t be so green, there wouldn’t be so many colorful and fragrant flowers.

While the Bunny walking in the forest, he met with Daffy Duck. They haven’t seen each other for a long time. They sat under the shade of the tree and then had a talk.

The Bunny spoke of the Quarrelsome Brothers to him. “These four brothers are the seasons of the year and they always argue. Each of them thinks how important he is. I’m so sorry about this situation because I love all of them so much.

So I decided to look at all the seasons to get them stop this argue. I’ve just learnt how amusing spring is. Bees and all the living creatures in the forest have livened up with the coming of spring.

The voice of the birds, the image of the colourful flowers have captivated me. Now I’m wondering about summer” said the Bunny. Daffy Duck said that his favourite season is summer andtook away the Bunny to a pretty, small town where summer began.

Bunny and his friend Duffy Duck went near summer, which says this is the best season in this small town. Summer entertained  strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums from his bag to the Bunny and his friend Duffy Duck. The most beautiful fruits are in my bag, said summer. Indeed, the Bunny and Duffy Duck love the flavor of the fruit. Summer didn't stop to show his skills of course.Summer painted all blue. There was an endless sea there. The Bunny and Duffy Duck swam with the White Whale and had a lot of fun. They were very happy to have a very good floating friend like the Bunny and Duffy Duck White Whale. Bunny and Dufy Duck loved the summer, but they were looking forward to seeing autumn. They said goodbye to their friend White Whale and made their way to autumn ...

And so it was that Bunny and Duffy Duck thought of reaching their friend Little Red Riding Hood, who lived with her grandmother in the woods.

Along the way they could admire the autumn beauties: how wonderful to walk in the long avenues full of fallen leaves with their magic colors(yellow, orange, brown,red), to run without fatigue because the air was fresh and a light breeze always accompanied them, what fun to jump into the puddles created by the autumn drizzle. And what goodness the fruit and vegetables of the season: pulpy pumpkins, sugary pears, delicious chestnuts, very sweet persimmons, which they found along the woods.

They also made stocks of it, filled two large bags which they decided to take to Little Red Riding Hood. The grandmother and the girl welcomed them with immense joy.

With all the fruits and vegetables they prepared a fantastic dinner. After that they all stood around the fireplace and grandmother told a story. How nice the warmth of the house during autumn! 

Bunny and Daffy Duck, said goodbye to the red-hooded girl and her grandmother after then they set off in the woods to go to the winter season. As they proceeded in the forest, they began to get cold and white particles began to fall from the sky. A little later, everywhere became white, Bunny wondered how beautiful it was. They met Elsa, the Queen of Ice in the snow in the forest. They told him that they were there to get to know the winter season. Elsa took them to the ice palace and offered them tangerines, oranges, pomegranates, which are winter fruits. He liked the tastes of the bunny and Duffy Duck. Then they made a snowman with Elsa and played snow ball and slid in the snow with the help of a sled. They thought how fun the winter season was.

Duffy Duck introduced his friend Bunny to all of the Quarrelsome Brothers. They had a great time together. They tasted fruits of all seasons. They ran in the lush countryside in the spring. In the summer they swam in the sea. They enjoyed the rain falling in autumn. They had fun sliding in the snow in winter. Duffy Duck:

‘It's time to say goodbye. I have to go home. You have to do something that will end this fight for the sake of all of us. 

The rabbit was completely confused. The Quarrelsome Brothers were all beautiful. He really wanted this fight between them to end. But he did not think of a solution. The Bunny thought for a long time. He knew he had to find a way to get better between the Quarrelsome Brothers. Because the disagreement between them could harm the nature they had. It was actually part of a magnificent structure that embraced all living creatures. He would definitely show it to them.

Duffy duck and Bunny waved to each other and said goodbye. Duffy duck started to walk home. Bunny knew he had to do something to reconcile the "Quarrelsome Brothers". But he didn't know what he could do. While the rabbit was thinking about what to do,

spring and winter started to argue. As they argued, the sun wanted to smile on the children on earth. However, clouds were everywhere. suddenly it started to snow. But the snowflakes were melting without falling into the ground. Lush foliage, which began to cool from the cold, was poured on the ground. Trees and fruits tried to understand what happened to the seasons. Autumn comes.

Bunny thought and frightened that this debate would grow with the addition of Autumn to the fight between Spring and Winter. "Autumn! just wait a minute", said Bunny. I found a solution to this fight. Let's go to Mother Earth together. Mother Earth helps us. 'She'll find a way out of this fight,' said Bunny. Mother Earth was a happy and wise woman who lived alone. She will open her arms and help everyone who come to her land. Quarrelsome Brothers liked this idea of Bunny and agreed to go to Mother Earth. All of you wear your beautiful clothes and make nice gifts on the way, Bunny said. The Quarrelsome Brothers forgot to quarrel and began preparations. The Quarrelsome Brothers are very excited, and they are very happy that they will go to Mother Earth and offer gifts. Preparations are over and the Brothers have arrived at Mother Earth.

Mother Earth: She said to the Quarrelsome Brothers, "Welcome to my land." Now come next to me and introduce yourself. "

The brothers, who were well dressed and came with gifts, started to introduce themselves. One of the brothers wore colorful clothes explained their trouble.

" Hello with our sincere love, dear Mother Earth. We all think that each of us is the best season. So we never get along and we always fight. We want you to help us and find a solution to this problem."

 And he continued to his words,

" As you see, I 'm the Spring. With my coming, every color comes to Earth, shine comes, beautiful flowers and wonderful scents... Here is a gift for you. "

Spring opened his bag adorned with flowers. The gift was a crown of the most beautiful flowers. He gave the crown to Mother Earth. When she wore the crown, a very nice smell filled the room. The birds came to the window, they started chirping, as if they were singing the most spectacular composition.
