Juliana, Sarah, Ray, and Naomi were sisters. They always loved going to the forest that was near their house together. There were a lot of wild animals which they loved seeing. They had lots of great adventures in the forest. 

On one of their adventures, the sisters were sketching nature around them. While they were sketching, Ray looked around and saw a rock. Behind the rock, something was glowing brightly. She got up and told her sisters, “I think I see something glowing behind that rock over there!” The four sisters ran over, and behind the rock was a lavender treasure chest made out of metal. 

They tried to open it, but the big chest was really heavy for them. Juliana the most responsible sister, said, “Let me try!” They all argued and said the same thing. Still, no one could open it. Sarah said, “I guess there is a lock, come on let's go find a stick so we can try to open it.” Once they came back the chest was already open. They all thought well that was weird!

The chest was opening on its own, they stared at it for a long time. They could already see some light inside when the treasure chest opened fully there was not anything that you would normally see in a treasure chest like coins, jewelry or maps.  All they saw was a yellow gooey thing which they had no idea what it was. 

The sisters bent over the chest to get a closer look at the yellow gooey thing. Suddenly, they were sucked into the yellow gooey thing and fell deep down inside the lavender chest. They tried to fly back up, but they couldn’t. 

After a few minutes, they had dropped into a whole new world. They could see fairies flying all around them. When they looked at each other they were so surprised to see that they turned into fairies. They had small wings and they shrunk way smaller than usual. They all had different hair colours. When it was the day their hair would turn lighter, and when it was the night their hair would turn darker.

“Should we see if we can fly?” said Naomi. They used a lot of force to flap their wings, and guess what? They flew up and up and up. When they landed, in front of them was a dog fairy. Then, that fairy dog brought them to a big castle where the King and Queen of the Fairy Land lived.

When they arrived, the King and Queen said, “You have to leave because you are not real fairies and if you stay in our world, we will turn into humans.” The four sisters looked at each other in disbelief. “We can’t find the treasure chest so we have no idea how to leave this place!” said all the sisters all at once.  

Then, the Queen and King said: “To leave Fairy Land,  you have to find four items: dragon's breath, one golden rose petal, three teardrops from a dog fairies and at last, an enchanted sword.” Juliana looked at her other sisters and they all looked confused! She said, “How are we ever going to find all those items? We don’t know our way around this land!”

The Queen looked at the King and said, “Should we give them a map?” He replied, “Sure, but know that if you wander off track you may never find your way back home again.” The sisters accepted the command. The Queen handed the map to Sarah and the sisters began their journey to find the four items that would bring them back home.
