Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom, there was a young girl named Luna. She loved space and  the moon and her life dream was to become an astronaut and go there. But because of the rules placed by King Charl VII, she could not even go out of her house.

King Charl VII was a rich, bigoted man. He killed those who even touched him. He yelled and screamed at all. He never married, and took a potion that made him younger. If he didn't take it every month at 12:00, he would die.He did this so he would be king forever. He hated "cute" things and took all of the best food and things for  himself. The men got the leftovers and the women got the scraps. 

Starting CharlDay 3421, all women and girls must never step out of their homes. They must never cut their hair, and they must always wear black long sleeved shirts and jeans. They can never show their arms (except for hands), or legs (including feet), even in their homes. All those who do not follow  will be killed.

From that day onward, Luna never got to see the moon again. This saddened her. Luna's dad and brother would go to their jobs as the cup bearers for the king. Every male, including young boys worked for the king. Her dad would split the leftovers  between the family, and they would have "feasts".

Luna knew from the looks on her parents faces 

that these rules made them feel mad. So she became mad. Luna  decided to challenge the rules. She ripped the sleeves of her shirt and turned her jeans into shorts. She cut her hair and walked outside bravely, showing no traces of fear.

As she was walking, one of the kings guards spotted her. The guard was a friend of her father, so Luna pleaded with him to let her go. But the guard did not want to die, so he took her to the king.  Luna realized that if she went with the guard, she would get to speak to the king. So she went with him.

Luna's parents were worried. They had found hair, and part of their daughters clothes in her room. Her dad's sandals were missing. Luna's dad went outside  and started calling her name.

Meanwhile, at the palace, Luna was chained to a chair and the king was yelling at her. Then she hatched a plan. She started wiggling and wiggling her arms. When they were loose, she undid the rest of the chains and threw them at the king. The king passed out. Luna ran home.

Luna's dad burst into the throne room. "WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER!!!" He screamed. "She  ran  away." The king answered coughing. Luna's dad was heartbroken. So he went home sadly, and crying.
