A child stays alone at their grandparents' house and experiences a series of scary events, only to find out it was a prank by their grandparents.

On Halloween, older trick-or-treaters act suspicious. Later, a creepy caller threatens the narrator and Kenny, then appears at their house, turning the night into a terrifying encounter.
