In our story, a child loses her kite, and while searching for it, she meets children from different backgrounds. Each child adds something special to the kite that represents their identity, culture, or family. By the end, the kite becomes a shared symbol of belonging.
The story uses simple, repetitive language to support early reading, and encourages children to talk about who they are, where they come from, and how we all belong — which links to important learning in Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS).
