Lloyd, a 10-year-old boy, with the help of his brother Wu, fights against their grandfather Garmashadow who released serpents. Lloyd becomes a golden master and stops the evil corruption in his grandfather.

The friends find themselves in the underworld of Shintaro and encounter their nemesis, Krux, who wants the time blades. Krux reverses time but is stopped by the friends. They steal the time blades and return home, befriending Lloyd along the way.
