The next morning I woke up not feeling well. Since my dad wasn't home i dragged myself out of bed and got dressed. I chose a neon pink shirt and some jeans. Since i wasn't feeling well I didnt brush out my hair, just put it into a messy ponytail. I slipped on my favorite blue jacket and went to find my siblings. 

They were both watching TV in the family room. ¨Okay guys get dressed. Kylie i will help you, Malachi you know how. Dad isnt here and I don't feel well so please listen.¨ I said.

They understood. Malachi went to his room and got dressed. I helped Kylie put on a shirt she wanted--a burgundy colored shirt with flowers scattered across it. She knew how to put on the pants though. I helped her tie her shoes and they were ready to go. I rolled our bikes out of the garage since i didn't feel like walking.

The kids were excited to ride to school for a change. Matthew got onto his white bike, which he wrote Zebra on. He named his bike Zebra like i named mine Teal Thunder. Kylie got on hers, It was yellow and i helped her write Sunflower on it. 

We rode to their school two blocks away. I helped them tie their bikes to the bike stand and they went off. I rode my bike back to the house and called my mom. ¨Mom im not feeling too well. Is it okay if I skip school?....My temperature?...Let me check….Okay its 103 degrees….ok i will….thanks….yeah see you later…..yeah ill take the kids to swim after school…..ok bye.¨ I hung up. My mother had asked what my temp was, i checked it and it was high so she said i could stay.

I went to my room, got my puppy Whiskers, and settled under the covers. I watched a few episodes of a TV show I liked, then took a nap. When I woke up it was 2:00 PM. Almost time to pick up my sister and brother. They got out at 3:00. I looked around. Whiskers was by my feet. I got up and made myself some soup in the kitchen. 

I got my soup and went back into my room. I set it on my nightstand and got under the covers. I turned the TV back on--yes, i have a TV in my room--and ate and watched. By the time I was done it was 2:45 so i dragged Teal Thunder out of the garage and went to get my brother and sister. It was 2:55 when I got there.

I untied their bikes so we would not waste time and waited for them. They came to the front gate at 3:05. We rode back to the house. We rode for a good five minutes before we ran into trouble.

I heard an obnoxious laugh behind me and turned around. There she was, Harper, standing right behind me and laughing at my bike. ¨You named your bike Karina? Oh and the other kids did too! Thats so funny.¨ She said.

¨Oh shut up Harper, you named yours too remember? Blue Lightning? We all did, dont play dumb.¨ I snapped back. 

¨Um no. I got a new bike and I did not name it.¨ She said.

¨Who cares, Im not feeling good so just leave me alone today okay?¨ I said. 

¨Fine, bye Sick Girl!¨ She said as she walked away. I sighed and me and my siblings continued our ride.

When we got home they did their chores and they both helped me with mine. 

¨Um yeah im not feeling too well, should be better tomorrow.¨

¨Oh okay. So then why are you heading to the pool? Oh wait let me guess. You have to take those two to practice?¨

¨Yup. Why are you late?¨ 

He laughed. ¨I couldn't find my swim clothes, turns out my two year old sister Leah decided to paint all over it, so I had to find my back up clothes.¨
    I laughed. We rode the rest of the way to the pool and talked. When it was time for Ryker to go in the pool he messed around and made me laugh. I mouthed to him, ¨Your gonna get in trouble!¨ He did a thumbs up, letting me know that he understood what I said but that he did not care.

When practice was over we rode home together. But of course there was trouble, I asked him if he wanted to come over to play Minecraft and he said yes. But when we got to my house Harper was waiting. 

¨What do you want Harper?¨ I asked.
