Once upon a time, there was a powerful sorceress
that lived on an island in the middle of the Forbidden
Sea.
Using her magic spell book, she constructed a
massive fortress. From inside the walls, she cast
spells and conjured up monsters and creatures of all
shapes and sizes.
She had created dragons, werewolves, serpents,
giants, and even mummies. With her powerful magic
and spell book, she had seemingly unlimited power,
and yet...

...there was still one creature that she had not
dared to make:
The dreadful Minotaur
The Minotaur was half-man and half-bull.
Extremely powerful and cunning, the only way
known to control it was to place it in a maze of
extraordinary dimensions.
Certainly, such a beast was a risky creation, but the
rewards were unimaginable. For it was written in
the spell book that the Minotaur possessed a secret
that was very old, and very, very,

very valuable. This secret could unlock the
wonders of the world AND the underworld.
The minotaur, if captured, could do anything the
sorcerer asked for or wanted. "Arrggg! I need to
figure this out!!" the sorcerer yelled. Then
suddenly she had an idea. So she ordered her
guards to get her boat ready. "Ready my ship!
Swiftly now!" She yelled out as she looked angrily
at the guards. They did as she commanded with
great reluctance.
She was starting to think she could conquer this
minotaur after all...

So in desperation, she went to talk to the evil
serpent that lived in the Forbidden Sea. He was
said to be one of the most cunning creatures in
the sea and if given a sacrifice, the serpent would
answer 1 question. The sorcerer made her servant
troll row her to the serpent. "Pardon me miss, but
this is a very dangerous ocean." the small troll
said. "I rule over it, so i'm not worried one bit."
she said pridefully.
The troll started to get very worried indeed, but
the selfish queen continued to make him paddle
toward the serpent. Even if it was dangerous...

With the Sorcerer's power, she made herself
breathe under water so she could talk to the
serpent. She selfishly sacrificed her servant troll
to ask the one question. "Whatssss do you
wissssshhh to assssk?" the serpent hissed. The
queen thought hard about this, due to the fact
that she only had one chance to ask the right
question. "Hmmm...How must you build a maze
to capture the minotaur?" she asked. The serpent
then showed her a vision.
"Foolish old hag..." the serpent muttered under
his breath as he showed her the vision with a
sneaky smile.

In the vision, she saw a maze, with a genie and
the minotaur. "Find a genie, a young maiden, and
3 bottles of rummmmm, and you shall defeat the
minotaur!" the serpent said.
As soon as the queen got the idea, she quickly
swam up to the surface and rowed the boat all by
herself. Back to her miserable fortress.
"Yes! The dreaded minotaur shall soon be
conquered by me! Muhahaha! I can smell the
sweet victory! she said as she boasted on herself.
As she paddled and rowed.

With a poof of magic, she transformed herself into
an old woman and suddenly appeared in a cabin
that someone lived in, in fact, it was the home of a
maiden. A very beautiful maiden that the sorcerer
planned to capture in order to catch the
Minotaur. She hoped everything would go as
planned. Meanwhile the maiden walked into her
cottage and the sorcerer grabbed her soon after
and reappeared in her fortress. "Let me go!" the
young maiden demanded, but the queen just held
onto her tighter. "Shut up little girl, i have plans
for you, marvelous plans..."She sneered as she
dragged her into the courtyard.

The young maiden, named Louise, was terribly
afraid. The sorcerer had an overgrown troll take
her prisoner and locked her up in a dank, dark,
dungeon. As for the sorcerer, she continued on
her quest for ultimate power! She flew on the
maiden's pegasus to find three bottles of rum. The
troll then said, "Mind me young lass, but I
wouldn't want to be you." With that, the queen
marched her into the fortress.
The young maiden was even more afraid and
wished for nothing more then to return to the
peace of her little cottage.

The queen had to hurry and dig for the bottles of
rum. After tiring with the shovel a group of pirates
saw her stealing their rum. "Attack! She's avestin'
our rum! Get ye boots on she can't get away!" The
captain pirate yelled. Frantically, she dug for the
last bottle of rum, got the last bottle, and grabbed
hold of the Pegasus's mane. "Arr! Ye scurvy dogs!
she's gotten away with our rum you buncha land
loafers! Away she flew with the rum back to her
fortress.

The queen had gotten the two things required to
defeat the minotaur. "I need one more thing and
that minotaur will be mine!" The genie was not an
easy prize to be won. It required a high amount of
cunning and skill to acquire one, maybe even
wealth. The queen made her final journey into the
island of Delphi. "Oh! I really wish to be home
now!" Louise said. She looked around at the
queen's fortress and how rich she was. She could
only dream of having power though.
She sighed and even started to fall into a deep
sleep.

When the queen arrived at the island a curious
gnome offered her a valuable gold lamp for the
price of 1000 Geneas (currency) and the queen
reluctantly accepted the offer. I wonder what
curious object this? She questioned to herself. She
examined it carefully and decided to rub it. POOF!
a genie appeared on the lamp. "A song or a band,
the moon, or a hand, three wishes is your
command." the genie said. The queen was
absolutely overcome with joy! She immediately
vanished to her fortress and prepared to create the
maze for the minotaur.
