Chapter One.
It was a cold morning in Colorado near the Rocky Mountains. A cold breeze blew snow off of the damp rocks, and into the mountains.
I trudged through the snow, and my pet wolf followed along. His name is Dennver. I named him after the Capital of Colorado. I love him.

it was really cold because it was winter. Dennver was a Mexican Graywolf. by the way our problem was to solve avalanches. we have tools to solve them.
By the way, our problem was to destroy avalanches, and we had special tools to solve them. In fact it was pretty scary sometimes. An avalanche is a chunky waterfall of snow and people can die, freeze, or get crushed by them. I am a special professional avalanche destroyer and a glaciologist called to destroy the avalanche that was in the Rocky Mountains.
We were on our fifth journey. One was in Moscow, one was in Alaska, one was in Yukon and one was somewhere in Greenland. We are in Colorado right now.
We heard there was an avalanche on
The Rocky Mountains. Even though it was thousands of miles away, we would get there in a few days. Dennver and I were pretty hungry but there was no one living out here.
Nor were there any restaurants. Fortunately I had a bag of trail mix in my bag. We were tired...we had to rest on ice. In the morning we got up to find food.
Dennver and I found a frozen ocean with some salty water in it. Dennver leaped into the water. Ten seconds later his head came bobbing back up. He had salmon in his mouth.

CHAPTER 2
Chapter Two
Dennver dropped a salmon in front of me, his fur soaking wet with the salty ocean water. I passed it back to him. He nudged it back to me. ''No thanks,'' I told him.
He gobbled it up hungrily. We started walking farther towards our destination. "Oh no! We forgot our truck!" Our truck is a 2024 Toyota Tundra.

We ran on the ice for a long time. We finally got there. We opened up the doors. We were on the ground now. I opened up the back of the truck and Dennver climbed in. The truck started up with a rumble. Then I pushed on the gas. We were driving on a dirt road for over 2 hours.

We were driving through the city streets of Denver, Colorado. I was born far away in Washington Seattle. I stopped at the side of the road, to give Dennver a piece of beef jerky. Then we got back on the road. I finally found a restaurant. After I ate we got onto the road. When we were done filling up our truck at the gas station, we got back on the road again.
We were still driving to the Rocky Mountains but we were not even close to it. We were coming out of the city of Denver. Finally!!! But the Rocky Mountains still seemed far away. I could not wait to get out of the truck. What a day! I was getting tired.

Finally, we arrived, walked around the truck and opened up the back so Dennver could come out. I got out my backpack, and I unzipped the zipper. I started shuffling through the bag. Finally, I found my iPhone. I went to the messages app.
A message was waiting for me. It was from the glaciologist. "Don't forget about the avalanche." "I'm there right now," I typed back. I sent the message and put my phone away.
Finally we started on driving our turbo diesel truck up the mountain with the 4wd. I`ll tell you, it took a lot of work to get up that mountain.
