The earthquake in Italy-August 24 2016

An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale occurred in central Italy on August 24, 2016 at 03:36 local time, near Norcia, a town in the Province of Perugia.

The earthquake lasted two and a half minutes and, according to experts, had a destructive power similar to 1,200 tons of TNT.

More than 120 dead and 368 injured people were registered.

Land slides-Ischia,November 26 2022

A landslide that occurred after a series of torrential rains on the island of Ischia in southern Italy on November 26, 2022.

The waves of mud and water destroyed everything in their path, and some cars were carried into the waves of the sea.

8 people died in Italy, following a landslide.

In the night between the 5th & the 6th February 2023 there was a big earthquake in TurkiYe and Sirya. 

The earthquake is estimated to have caused more than 57.000 deaths. 

The earthquake was caused by tectonic plate movement.

The WILDFIRE in Turkiye

July 9 2021

In July and August 2021, more than two hundred wildfires burnt 1.700  square kilometres of forest in Turkiye's Mediterranean Region.

These forest fires are caused by the extremely dry and hot weather, one of the impacts of climate change.
