Jacob Marley was seven years dead. Marley and Scrooge were partners in London. Scrooge was an old, evil, and selfish man who lived alone. One Christmas, Marley's ghost appeared to warn Scrooge about his fate. Three spirits visited Scrooge and showed him the past, present, and future. Scrooge realized he needed to change and became a kinder person.
